Green was a student of New Roads High School in Santa Monica, California, in the United States. He earned his B.A in Business Economics in 2006 from the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB). The first version of Zimride’s ride-share program was launched at Cornell University where, after a period of six months, the service had signed up around 20% of the student body.
