Eduardo Luiz Saverin was born into a Jewish family in Sao Paulo, Brazil on March 19, 1982. He and his two siblings were raised by the mother, Sandra, who was a psychologist, and their father, Robert Saverin, who was a successful businessman who worked in real estate, clothing, and shipping.
